FIFTEEN AND COUNTING... LIVE AT THE BARROWLAND 17TH MARCH 2006
Available exclusively at the merchandise stall on SLF tours and online at Stiff Little Fingers Official Online Store. The CD includes liner notes from each band member. From Steve Grantley's: "This was only Ali's 3rd gig since his return to the fold and we were all nervous for him. St Pat's at the Barras is a massive night for SLF, magical in fact and we all felt for Ali as we stood at the side of the stage. There's nothing more thrilling than a Barrowland audience.... We got on stage and played our hearts out, as we finished the set with "Alternative Ulster" we drained every last drop of energy from our bones. It was an amazing night and we all agreed that it was brilliant to have Mr McMordie back.... When I sat down in the studio to mix the album and listened to the recordings I was genuinely shocked at the blistering energy in the performances. There was a relentless passion that came through as we slammed through song after song.... There are no overdubs, re-recording of parts or vocals. The atmosphere is palpable and the band sounds as powerful as ever. " The CD was mixed by Steve Grantley and engineered by John Magner.
